Brandon Martin of Full Throttle Show
Tuesday, 04 April 2006

The Full Throttle Racing Show welcomes another eclectic group of guests on its Tuesday, April 4th edition. Featured are Eldora Speedway promoter Larry Kemp, All Star Circuit of Champions rookie contender Brandon Martin and USAC/BCRA driver Shannon McQueen.

The live broadcast of the weekly show, featuring national coverage of sprint car, midget and Silver Crown racing, can be heard at www.usadirtracing.com or www.golivesports.com at 8:00pm eastern, 7:00pm central and 5:00pm pacific. Each broadcast is archived for “on-demand” listening immediately following the live show.

Larry Kemp is the promoter of Tony Stewart’s famed Eldora Speedway in Ohio, which opened its season featuring USAC sprints this past weekend. The track welcomes The World of Outlaws and All Star Circuit of Champions on April 7th-8th. Eldora Speedway recently announced that it is partnering with MOPAR to dramatically increase its purse for the 25th running of the famed “Four Crown Nationals” in September.

Brandon Martin is a prime contender for the top rookie honor and a $10,000 check from the All-Stars in 2006. Now in his sixth year of racing 410 sprints, the Ohio based driver cut his sprint car racing teeth at Attica and Fremont and is one of the highly touted “next generation” drivers traveling with the ASCoC this season.

Shannon McQueen is currently the only female racer campaigning a midget on pavement and dirt with the USAC and BCRA in California. Racing since the age of six, she has finished in the top ten in points with the USAC Western States series each of the past two seasons.
