UNOH becomes the title sponsor of the All Star family of brands |
CAMARGO, IL (11-19-11) By Brian Liskai – All Star Championship Racing has some of the most educated fans in the world. So, it only makes sense that the University of Northwestern Ohio is now the new title sponsor of the family of brands of All Star Championship Racing.
The UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions will embark on their 2012 season soon and officials are excited about the opportunities the relationship between the racing series and UNOH.
“UNOH has long been a supporter of grassroots racing. Through the university’s College of Applied Technologies, they are tied directly to racing, providing degrees in automotive technology and high performance technology. The All Stars are extremely proud and excited about the opportunities this business marketing agreement has for the university, our series and our fans and race teams,” said Guy Webb of All Star Championship Racing.
The UNOH All Star Championship Racing organizes races for the UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions Sprint Cars, UNOH All Star Late Model Series, and UNOH Midwest All Star Sprint Series.
The University of Northwestern Ohio – founded in 1920 - offers degrees through the College of Applied Technologies, College of Health Professions, College of Business, College of Occupational Professions, a graduate college and online degrees.
The university owns and operates Limaland Motorsports Park, a dirt track that races sprint cars, stock cars and modifieds on a weekly basis during the summer, including hosting the All Star Circuit of Champions Sprint Cars and the World of Outlaw Sprint Cars. The university also fields several race cars where the students are the crews. UNOH also sponsors the DIRTcar Nationals in Florida in February.
