OReilly All Star Circuit of Champions Warm up at Ocala
Camargo, IL (1-11-09) Imageby Kelly Brown – Public Relations Director – Before the competitors of the O’Reilly All Star Circuit of Champions rev up their engines for race season, they will have a chance to warm up their engines at Ocala Speedway. The O’Reilly All Stars will be allowing their competitors to try out the dirt at Ocala with a special practice night the eve before the start of Florida Speedweek Winter Nationals.

On January 28th Ocala Speedway will open its gates to fans for a practice session that will run from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.  General admission will be free, with pit passes for only $10. This will provide the fans a chance to get closer to their favorite sprint car drivers without the usual pressures of race night.

This unique practice session will allow the drivers to get their footing on a track they have not raced on since 1994. Winter Nationals will kick off at Ocala Speedway for a three night event on January 29 (Thursday), 30 (Friday), and 31 (Saturday).  The last time the All Stars visited the 3/8 of a mile bullring was in 1994 when Kevin Huntley, Rocky Hodges, Joey Saldana and Lance Dewease all collected Checkered Flags.  In the ten events held at Ocala there has yet to be a repeat winner.

For more information fans can call the Ocala Speedway at 352-622-9400. Tickets for the next three nights of racing action after the warm up will run $25 per night for adults, $15 per night for children 12 and under, and $35 for pit passes. Gates will open to fans at 4:00 pm, with qualifying at 6:30 pm, and racing action begins at 8:00 pm each night.  For further information please visit www.oreillyallstars.com or www.ocalaspeedway.com.
